Brixental is the name of a municipality in Austria. It’s located in Tyrol, a province of Austria, as well as in the state of Salzburg and district of Zell am See. Brixental has a very small population and feels very remote. Brixental has a very small population and feels very remote. It’s a small area, with only about 4,000 people living there. But it’s worth visiting! The landscape is beautiful and you can see all kinds of animals in the wild because they haven’t been hunted much yet. There are many hikes through the mountains around this area. There are many different hikes that you can do in the area. The hikes range from easy to difficult and they’re great for all skill levels.
Many of these hikes start from Zell am See, which is also where we stayed on our trip. Zell am See is a beautiful town and popular tourist destination. It’s the home of the Zellersee, which offers many activities for visitors to enjoy. The town also has several museums and galleries that showcase local art, history and culture. Zell am See is also the location of many hiking trails that lead into neighboring towns such as Brixental and Wilder Kaiser; two mountainous regions that are must-sees during your visit to Austria!
One hike we did was to the top of Grossarl, which is a peak in the Wilder Kaiser that’s 6,709 feet tall (2,058 meters). We began our hike at about 3 p.m., and it took us about 4 hours to make it up and back down again through rain, fog, and wind (and then some more rain!). The hike was about four hours long, starting at 3 p.m., and we made it Wilder Kaiser up and back down again through rain, fog and wind (and then some more rain!). The trail is fairly steep in parts but not too difficult; you’ll find stairs or ladders where needed to help with the climb. You’ll also get incredible views of Brixental from the top of Grossarl!
